Our Mission

  • To provide a venue for emerging visual artists in the Bi-State region who have not acquired mainstream exposure.

  • To exhibit the unique perceptions of visual artists of all nationalities, while maintaining a strong emphasis on artists of the African American, Hispanic, Native American, West Indies diaspora.

  • To offer serious collectors, as well as the general public, the opportunity to meet with the artists and purchase original works of art.

  • To provide an environment dedicated to inspiration and the interchange of ideas relating to the aesthetic, social and/or political concerns of visual and performing artist.

  • The goal of the Atelier D'Artiste 14 is to provide quality classes/ workshops to youth and adults in a barrier-free setting that is designed to inspire and motivate creativity. While offering a variety of disciplines in the arts, we will research the history; examine techniques and application of each of our own contemporary art forms.

We will explore and encourage the importance of entrepreneurship, leadership, self-sustainability and  accountability; not only in the arts, but also in our daily lives.  Through engagement of the young minds of the surrounding community, we plan to revitalize hope back into the lives of those affected by a crippling economy. Through the use of creative expression, we will establish an interaction of residents, creating dialogue long lost and forgotten, forming a comprehensive relationship between artist and community.
